Keynote: Chopeta Lyons

Chopeta Lyons has created award-winning print and online learning materials during a thirty-year career of designing and developing training solutions for numerous international and national corporations, government agencies and organizations. She designed and currently delivers ASTD’s (American Society of Training and Development) seminars on graphics and writes their blogs on the use of graphics for instruction. 

Her work involves analyzing business needs and performance gaps to identify appropriate training interventions. Beginning in 1983 with the design of electronic educational software, she has directed teams of designers, writers, programmers, voice talent, graphic designers and artists to create custom training solutions. She is a Society for Technical Communication (STC) Associate Fellow and a Columbia Graduate School of Journalism Sulzberger Fellow.
