Speaker bio:

Kathryn Rockwell has worked in EAL for 20 years. She is currently Instructional Resource Coordinator at LISTN (Language Instruction Support and Training Network) and mentor for LearnIT2Teach. She works with teachers all over BC-Yukon providing PD (both F2F and online) and resources. One of her favourite things to do is to coach technologically anxious teachers. Kathryn has been around long enough to remember when cutting and pasting involved scissors and glue; however, she is a committed embracer of innovations that make the practice of EAL more effective and more fun. She believes the best way to keep up is to keep connected, and has found that Twitter is one of the best ways to do that.
